NFCC CoatsGiving 2024! (New Name, Same Great Service)

The NFCC CoatsGiving program (Thanksgiving and Coat Drive) helps ease the financial burden of the holiday season for local families in need. Families are provided with all the essentials to prepare a Thanksgiving meal at home. Additionally, each family receives coats and winter accessories to stay warm during the winter months. THANK YOU for helping to warm the hearts and fill the plates of over 500 families this season. Here's how you can help.

Turkey And Protein Collection:

  • Collection Dates: Sunday, 11/3 and 11/10. Beginning after the 7:45 a.m. service and throughout all Sunday services.

  • Donation Request: Turkey or Chicken (whole or breast), Holiday Ham and Frozen Lasagna

  • Drop off Location: Just drive around to the back kitchen door of Jeffords Hall and a St. David’s volunteer will be there to happily take your donation.

Warm Coats:

  1. Purchase a new coat: Visit https://nfcchelp.org/coatsgiving/ and purchase from the Amazon Wish List

  2. Donate a Clean, GENTLY used winter coat for babies, children, teens, and adults in all sizes. Bring GENTLY used winter accessories: hats, gloves, scarves. Bring your donation to church and drop in the designated area of the mailbox hallway. Must be received by November 3.

Volunteer During Distribution Week:

  • November 11-16. St. David’s will host the NFCC CoatsGiving 2024 event in Jeffords Hall to organize and distribute the coat and winter accessories and the food donations. We need Parking Lot Hosts to welcome the hundreds of volunteers and over 500 families in need during the week. To volunteer in the parking lot, contact Shelby Crain. If you prefer to work inside Jeffords Hall doing receiving and sorting, let us know and we will reserve a time for you.

THANK YOU!
