We hope you’ve had a wonderful summer! St. David's Children's Ministries celebrated a fun filled summer of VBS, outdoor play, time with friends, and learning about God gracious love for us all through Children’s Chapel, worship, and more!
St. David’s staff and volunteers have been busy planning an exciting, active, and engaging program year! We are dedicated to building relationships; with each other and with God, and we hope you will join us! We are conveniently located to Roswell, Alpharetta, John's Creek, and Milton.
Sunday, August 4: Sunday School Sign-ups and Blessing of the Backpacks,
Children 4 years old through Fifth grade!
Join us at 10:15 a.m. in the downstairs Jeffords Hall classroom to register the kiddos for Sunday School! There will be time to meet and greet with the Sunday School Teachers, enjoy a cup of coffee while sharing fellowship with other parents, while the children grab a snack and participate in special welcome activities.
Children are also invited to bring their Backpacks to Church for a blessing of the backpacks at any of the three services!
Sunday, August 11: Children's Ministries' Orientation for Teachers and Parent Partners
10:15 a.m.-Noon: Jeffords Hall Upstairs, in the back half. Teachers, Parent Partners, and anyone interested in learning more about ways to serve and support Children’s Ministries are invited! The orientation is a time to connect with one another, enjoy refreshments and fellowship, share ideas, learn a little more about planning for the upcoming year, and other highlights.
There are many ways to volunteer your time in support of formation, fun and fellowship for our wonderful kiddos. Contribute and connect in a way that shares your gifts and abilities and fits your family schedule. Come learn more about simple and meaningful ways to serve, support, and connect with other parents.
10:15 a.m.-Noon- Kid Zone! Available to all children four years old-5th grade are welcome to stay and play in Kid Zone. Parents please check your child in and out with caregivers downstairs in Jeffords Hall, Grace Classroom!
There is Nursery care for children infant-3 years old! Parents check in your child with caregivers in St. David’s Nursery, (St. Anne’s Room) located in the main church building, take the hallway on your left when you enter through the front doors of the building, follow the hallway to the right, and St. David’s Nursery will be on your left!
Sunday, August 18: First Day of Sunday School!
Children’s Sunday school for PreK through First Grade meets in the Indoor Play Space(Catacombs)-From the sanctuary, pass the Children’s Table, continue down the Preschool hallway, take a left at the next hallway, walk by the Nursery, and 15 feet down the hall is the door that leads downstairs to the Indoor Play Space, Sunday school classroom for children 4 years-1st grade.
Children’s Sunday school for Second Grade through Fifth Grade meets in the Grace and Faith classrooms, downstairs in Jeffords Hall.
