Ash Wednesday is the first day of the penitential Lenten Season. We are reminded of our mortality and profess our devotion to God through the imposition of ashes during this service. St. David’s is offering four services plus an "Ashes To Go" option to observe this holy day.
7:00 a.m. – Nave
This is an abbreviated, traditional service that you may attend before starting your day. This service will have Holy Communion and the imposition of ashes.
12:15 p.m. – Nave
This is an abbreviated, traditional service that takes place during the lunch hour with Holy Communion and the imposition of ashes.
1:15-2:15 p.m. – Ashes To Go
If your schedule is too busy to attend a service we will offer "Ashes To Go" in the convenience of your car from 1:15-2:15 p.m.
5:00 p.m. Family Service – Nave
This service of readings, prayers, and the imposition of ashes is designed to help families with young children experience the essentials of Ash Wednesday. This service is shorter and more participatory than our other services and does not include Holy Communion.
7:00 p.m. – Bilingual Service in the Nave
Our full, traditional service with Holy Communion and the imposition of ashes in both English and Spanish.
