The ABC's of Becoming a Member

We rejoice in all those who come to St. David's for worship and service.  If you would like to make St. David's your church home, please pick up a "Welcome Packet" from the Visitor table located in the main hallway of the church.  Inside you will find a "New Member Information Sheet."  Please fill this sheet out and return it to the church office. When this process is completed, you will then be a "MEMBER OF THE PARISH!"

The office will put you and your family on our church database, make a mailbox for you, and make a nametag for you.  There is a place on the back of the downloaded form for you to request that your membership be transferred from another parish, or you may click on the Transfer Letter link above in step 1. St. David's church office will generate a letter to your past church to request the transfer when they receive this form.  

A VISITOR TO ST. DAVID'S IS:

• a person who is visiting and getting to know us
• a person who is interested in St. David's, but not a member

A MEMBER OF THE PARISH IS:

• a baptized Christian
• one who looks to St. David's as his/her parish
• a person regular in attendance
• a participant in the programs of the parish
• a person who gives systematically through a recorded pledge or gift (the 10% tithe is the standard)

A COMMUNICANT IS:

• a member of the parish (see above)
• a confirmed Episcopalian whose letter of transfer is at St. David's
