Wednesday Night Adult Program: “Rehearsing Scripture / Preparing for Holy Week”
This is no lecture style Bible study. Nor is it Lectio-Divina. Focusing on the lead up to Holy Week, Dr. April Love-Fordham will be facilitating a new interactive technique called “Rehearsing Scripture” developed at Columbia Seminary. The group will “read and rehearse” the scripture together sharing each other’s insights and wisdom. April says: “Every time I have participated in this technique, I have been blown away with an unforgettable and unexpected encounter with God as I see the scripture through the eyes of others.”
March 27: Luke 22:1-38 “The Last Supper”
April 3: Luke 22: 39-66 “Jesus is Arrested”
April 10: Luke 23: 1-25 “The Trial of Jesus”
