At the request of the Interim Rector and Vestry, a Protocol Committee has been established as a new Ministry at St. David’s. The purpose of this Ministry is to establish “protocol” for our safe return to Church. Whenever the return date is established, it will be this committee’s job to establish the criteria for that safe return and help with the implementation.
This ministry had its first meeting last Friday evening and agreed that the safety of our Parishioners was our priority. We want to be ready, with procedures, supplies, and communication to the parish as to what to expect.
There will be 3 parts to this Ministry:
1) Establish what the protocol will be when returning to Church.
2) Procurement – buy critical supplies when available for reopening of Church.
3) Implementation – implementing the established protocol.
If anyone in the Parish has a source for supplies (sanitizing wipes, hand sanitizer, disinfectant spray), please let Jan Georges know. (email@example.com) Homemade masks would be greatly appreciated. We have been reaching out to all our sources as well as searching stores but supplies remain limited.
This will be integral for our return.
