Message from Rector and Senior Warden

Dear Brothers and Sisters of St. David’s.

As was said in Sunday’s sermon, “There is much in our future that we do not know. However, there are those certainties that we absolutely know—that you and I are still the Church, even if we are not physically together! The Love of God in Jesus Christ will always bind us together, no matter what”

During this time of uncertainty, St. David’s, like you, has ongoing financial obligations and commitments, even though we are not holding formal church services or other events. With this in mind, we offer you the following ways to continue your financial support of St. David’s. We would encourage those who are able to give ahead of schedule as there maybe those who may be unable to give during this period.

LOW TECH Method – mail you check or money order…do not send cash, to St. David’s
St. David’s Episcopal Church
1015 Old Roswell Rd.
Roswell, GA 30076

HI TECH Methods – if you have difficulty using the HI TECH options, please contact Cathy Cheatwood at St. David’s 770-993-6084.

On St. David’s Website, follow this Link below for instructions.

On St. David’s App: If you have set-up your account, tap on the Giving icon at the bottom of the Home page. If you have not set-up your account, follow the instructions above for St. David’s Website.

On-Line Banking… go to your bank’s online banking system and set-up St. David’s as payee.

OTHER Methods – Donations via personal investments.

Stock donations- Although your investments are being impacted by the current market conditions, you may still be able to donate appreciated stock. Contact your financial institution / advisor for assistance and Cathy Cheatwood at the church office

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA) – If you are 70½ years old, you may want to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA. A QCD may be used to meet your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and lower your taxable income. You should again contact your financial institution / advisor for assistance and Cathy Cheatwood at the church office

If you are having financial difficulties, please let us know how we can help.
This is a time to remember that we are “Family”—the Family of God, and the Body of Christ. Let us pray for one another, even as we find new and creative ways to support one another in this uncertain time.

We thank you for your continued financial support of St. David’s!

Grace and Peace to you all,

Fr. Dean Taylor
Interim Rector

Leonard Ferrand
Senior Warden
